SMT manufacture. Surface-mount line, on our floor.
Boards are populated on our in-house surface-mount line and conformally coated for moisture protection — the same process for every model we ship, regardless of volume.
Same building. Same team. Every board.
When the design team finishes a board they walk it across the room to the SMT line. The line runs the same way for the high-volume CHOTU economy board as it does for the 24-bit ADS1130 jewellery card — no shortcuts at low volume, no separate process for high volume.
Every board gets a conformal-protective coating after assembly. Indian weighbridges live in dust, humidity and monsoon air, and uncoated boards die within two years in that environment.
The whole process is in one building. We don't subcontract assembly; we don't ship gerbers to a third party. Quality drift goes from being a vendor problem to a hallway conversation.
What the SMT floor does.
-
Pick-and-place
Surface-mount components placed at production speed.
-
Reflow + inspection
Same QC on every model — no batch shortcuts.
-
Conformal coating
Moisture-protection coating before dispatch.
-
Functional test
Every board fires up against a reference indicator before pack.
-
Same-roof debug
Field returns are diagnosed by the same team that built them.
-
Custom production
OEM PCB runs use the same line, the same warranty.
